Lulu Comes Home

Lulu is a little fish, and Lulu is ALWAYS the newest friend to come home to the cove. Every time there’s an empty spot, along comes Lulu to fill it - plip! - and now she’s home too.

The cove starts almost empty, with lots of open spots. But one tile at a time, the friends fill them in. And every new tile is like another friend coming home. Plip! One more. Plip! One more. Plip!

“One more spot to fill,” says Lulu, swimming up to an empty place. “There! Now that one’s home. And look - just a few more empty spots left. One more… and one more…”

Lulu loves watching the empty spots disappear, one by one, as each gets filled. Fewer and fewer empty places, more and more friends home, until -

“The LAST spot!” cheers Lulu, filling it. Plip! “Every spot is filled! Every friend is home! The whole cove is finished - all of it, full and cozy and complete!”

And the whole cove twinkled, every single spot filled, not one empty place left. “We did it!” laughed Lulu. “One more, and one more, and one more - until the whole cove is home!”

A grown-up can play too! Draw some empty spots, or lay out an empty tray. Fill them one at a time - “one more… one more…” - until every spot is full. Cheer when the LAST one goes in and it’s all complete!

One more tile, and one more, until every spot is filled - and the whole cove is home! That’s Lulu.
