DeckPals

A build-your-own-bag game for ages 6–8: your jar of tokens is see-through, so you always know what’s inside. Draw a handful, then make the jar better — buy a shiny token (you’ll draw it later!) or throw a dull pebble away forever. Watch the odds change as you build. On-device; nothing leaves your device.

Distributed-narrative cast

Meet the cast

DeckPals has a tiny friendly crew who make chance you can build: Corvi the magpie builds the jar — the more good tokens she adds, the more often she draws them; Twinkle is a bright token you buy from the market (adding it shifts the odds of every future draw); Dusty is a dull starter pebble you throw away forever (the jar’s odds get better); and Jarra is the see-through jar that always shows what’s inside (their illustrated storybooks are on the way).

C

Corvi

(Hero) the magpie collector — builds the jar; the more good tokens you add, the more often you draw them

T

Twinkle

A bright token you buy — adding a card shifts the odds of every future draw (dilution & delayed effect)

D

Dusty

A dull starter pebble you thin away forever — removing a card lifts the jar’s odds

J

Jarra

The see-through jar — always shows what’s inside so you watch the odds change (visible composition)
