TrickPals

A play-together card game for ages 6–8: help Otto the otter deliver the moonlit mail before the Storm rolls in. Lead a card, Pip the owl follows — the higher card of the led suit wins the trick (a night 🌙 card beats any suit). Win the tricks that carry your parcels ⭐ to deliver them. Pip flies at night to fight the Storm but never grabs your parcels — you win together. No chat, no losing to a friend. On-device; nothing leaves your device.

Distributed-narrative cast

Meet the cast

TrickPals has a tiny friendly crew who make cooperative trick-taking something a six-year-old can hold: Otto the otter is the courier who wins the led suit to deliver his parcels; Pip the owl flies at NIGHT (trump beats any suit) to push the Storm back, and never grabs your parcels (the Team Rule — the helper can't carry you); the Storm is the shared threat that creeps closer each round; and Mabel the postmaster is the shared goal every parcel reaches (their illustrated storybooks are on the way).

O

Otto

(Hero) the courier — wins the trick in the LED suit to deliver his parcels (highest-of-the-led-suit wins; lead your parcel high)

P

Pip

The owl — flies at NIGHT (trump beats any suit) to push the Storm back, and never grabs your parcels; if forced to catch one it only helps up to what you delivered (the non-carry Team Rule)

t

the Storm

The shared threat — creeps closer at the end of each round; a night flight pushes it back (deliver your mail promptly)

M

Mabel

The postmaster — the shared goal; every delivered parcel reaches her mailbag (win together)
