Daisy
THE SAME DAY AS YOU - *the little house follows the real clock, so its day matches yours: it says good morning in your morning, and goodnight at your bedtime.*
Daisy the Songbird Sings Your Day
Daisy is a cheerful little songbird with bright button eyes and the sweetest voice, and Daisy sits in the window of the little house and does the most wonderful thing: she keeps the very same day as YOU.
Because the little house follows the real clock - the same clock as your own home. So whatever time of day it is for you, it’s that time in the house too.
When it’s MORNING for you, Daisy sings out bright and cheery: “Good MORNING, little one! The sun is up! Time to stretch and start the day!”
When it’s the middle of the DAY, Daisy chirps along happily while you play: “It’s daytime! Lovely bright daytime - perfect for playing and pretending!”
When EVENING comes and the light goes soft and golden, Daisy sings a gentler song: “Good evening. The day is winding down, all calm and cozy now.”
And when it’s your BEDTIME, Daisy tucks her head under her wing and coos, ever so soft: “Goodnight, little one. Sleep tight. I’ll sing you awake in the morning.”
“The house keeps YOUR time,” Daisy says warmly. “Morning when it’s your morning. Night when it’s your night. So the pretend day and your real day are the very same day, together.”
That is Daisy’s sweet, songful idea.
Our little house keeps the same time as you - good morning when it’s your morning, goodnight when it’s your bedtime.
A grown-up can play too! Notice the time of day together. “Is it morning? What do we do in the morning? Is it nearly bedtime? What do we do at night?” Your day has a lovely rhythm - morning, daytime, evening, bedtime - and the little house shares it right along with you.
When night settles soft over the little house, Daisy fluffs up in her cozy window and sings the tiniest goodnight, warm with the gladness of a bird who shares each day with a friend. “Same day as you,” she whispers. “Always. I’ll be right here when your morning comes again.”
Morning to night, the same day as you. That’s Daisy.
