Lulla
your own voice is the light — the more you sing, the brighter Lulla glows
Lulla the Firefly
Lulla was a tiny firefly who lived at the soft edge of bedtime, and Lulla had a secret: her glow came from your voice. When you sang, even a little, Lulla lit up warm and golden. When you hummed a long, gentle note, she glowed brighter still.
A little one was shy to sing. “My voice is small,” they whispered. But the moment they hummed one soft note — there — Lulla flickered awake, glowing. Small voices make plenty of light. Lulla did not need loud; she needed yours.
Some nights the little one sang high, some nights low, some nights just a sleepy hum — and every single time, Lulla glowed. It was never about singing the right way. It was about singing your way. Your voice, your light.
At the very end of the day, the little one sang one last soft note, and Lulla glowed like a warm night-light, drifting close. “Goodnight,” the glow seemed to say. “Thank you for the light.” You made that. Your voice did.
