How it works

  1. Keep by restating. Read a durable idea and its field; keep it by saying it in your own words.
  2. Connect. Link two ideas with a because — the reason they belong together.
  3. Come back. Kept ideas return for spaced review — no streak, no due-count dread.
  4. Synthesise. Gather three or more and write one paragraph tying them together — you write it, not the app.
  5. Own it. Export the whole book as plain text, and re-import it anywhere. Your gems are files.
