Stars are born in gas clouds, shine for ages, then die — some quietly, some in giant explosions.

🗣️ Coach says

Stars have lifetimes. They’re born when a cloud of gas collapses and ignites, they shine for millions to billions of years by fusing hydrogen, and then they die. Small stars fade into white dwarfs; huge stars explode as supernovae and can leave a neutron star or black hole.
