Ancient Americas

📋 What it is

The Maya, Aztec and Inca built cities, calendars, roads and astronomy as advanced as anywhere — long before 1492.

🗣️ Coach says

The Americas were home to brilliant civilizations before Europeans arrived. The Maya tracked the stars, the Inca ran an empire across the Andes with rope bridges and runners. Study them on their own terms, never as a footnote.

🧠 Memory hook

“Advanced everywhere.” Maya = astronomy, Inca = roads & runners, Aztec = cities.

😂 Giggle

What did the trowel say to the shovel?
"You're too rough — let me handle this layer!"

😲 Whoa!

The Inca built a road network over 40,000 km long through the Andes and sent messages by relay runners across it.
