Mission 3 of 16

Reading Social Cues & Body Language

📋 What it is

Social cues — facial expressions, tone and body language — tell you how someone feels beyond their words.

🗣️ Coach says

People say a lot without words. A smile, crossed arms, a quiet voice, a look away — these SOCIAL CUES tell you how someone feels. Reading them (and noticing your own) helps you respond kindly and work well together. It's a skill that grows with practice and gentle attention.

🧠 Memory hook

Social cues = face + tone + body language. They tell you how someone feels beyond their words.

😂 Giggle

Why was the team art project so colorful?
Because everyone brought their own hue-mor!

😲 Whoa!

A big share of what we communicate comes from tone and body language, not the actual words — which is why a text message can be so easy to misread.
