Logic Puzzles

📋 What it is

Logic-grid puzzles solve by ELIMINATION — cross out what each clue makes impossible until one answer remains.

🗣️ Coach says

Escape rooms hide answers behind logic grids. You almost never find the answer directly — you cross out what CAN’T be. “The key isn’t red or blue” removes two. Keep eliminating and the survivor must be the answer.

🧠 Memory hook

Cross out the impossible; whatever survives is the answer.

😂 Giggle

Why did the clock in the escape room stop ticking?
It ran out of time — just like the players!

😲 Whoa!

This is exactly how Sherlock Holmes reasons: “when you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.”

✅ Quick check: A safe code digit isn’t 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9. What is it?

Say your answer out loud first — then reveal.

🪄 Trick question: If clues leave TWO options uncrossed, have you solved it?

Careful — think it through, then reveal.

🧪 Try it! (2 minutes)

Make a 3-clue “which door hides the key” puzzle where each clue crosses out one door.

🤸 Brain break: Cross-out: sweep a hand “no” for each impossibility, then point “yes” at the last one standing.
