Impossible figures — like the endless staircase or a triangle that can’t exist — trick your brain into reading a flat drawing as a 3-D object. Each PART looks fine, but the whole can’t be built. Your brain keeps trying to assemble it and gets caught in a loop. It’s a puzzle of local-looks-right, globally-impossible.
