Mission 9 of 16

Trade, Imports & Exports

📋 What it is

Countries export what they make well and import what they don’t; tariffs are taxes that make imports cost more.

🗣️ Coach says

Countries are like people at a potluck — they bring what they’re good at (exports) and take home what they’re not (imports). A tariff is a tax on imports that makes foreign goods pricier, often to protect local sellers.

🧠 Memory hook

Export what you’re best at, import the rest. A tariff = a tax on imports.
