📋 What it is

Volume is the space inside a solid — for a box, length × width × height, in cubic units.

🗣️ Coach says

Volume is area's 3D cousin. Area fills a flat floor; volume fills a whole box with little cubes. For a rectangular box it's length × width × height, measured in cubic units (cm³).

🧠 Memory hook

Volume = filling with cubes. Box volume = L × W × H, in cm³ (three dimensions → the little "³").
