Factors & Multiples
📋 What it is
Factors divide a number evenly; multiples are what you get by counting in steps of a number.
🗣️ Coach says
Factors and multiples are opposites. Factors of 12 divide INTO it (1,2,3,4,6,12). Multiples of 3 are what you land on counting by 3 (3,6,9,12…). Factors go down, multiples go up.
🧠 Memory hook
Factors go INTO a number (divide it). Multiples come OUT of it (times tables). Down vs up.
