About OddBitsPals
OddBitsPals is a gentle invent-a-rule toy for ages 3–5. Meet OddBits, who loves things that are a little bit broken, and the crew who bring the odd bits along:
- OddBits — loves what’s broken; a broken toy just means you get to make the rule.
- Scrap — brings a broken bit to fix.
- Mop — brings a broken bit to fix.
- Nib — the little friend who tries your rule and gets it wrong, so you can teach it.
Why this shape
Some of the best ideas start with something that doesn’t work. OddBitsPals gives a young child that feeling on purpose: a toy is broken, and instead of stopping, you make the rule — then keep it and teach it. It’s invention, in the smallest, calmest way.
