Light Basics & Properties

📋 What it is

Light travels in straight lines, incredibly fast, and lets us see when it reflects off objects into our eyes.

🗣️ Coach says

Light is energy that travels in straight lines at the fastest speed there is. You see an object when light bounces off it and enters your eye. In empty space light needs nothing to travel through, and it moves so fast it seems instant over short distances.

🧠 Memory hook

Light = straight-line energy, super fast. You see because light bounces INTO your eyes.
