Sensors and Input Systems

📋 What it is

Sensors are a robot's "senses" — they measure light, distance, touch, sound, or motion and turn it into data.

A robot's SENSE step happens through sensors. A distance sensor measures how far away a wall is; a light sensor detects brightness; a touch sensor knows when it bumped something. Each turns a real-world thing into numbers the robot can use. More/better sensors = a robot that understands more.
