Computer vision lets a robot "see" — turning camera images into understanding of objects, faces, or paths.

A camera gives a robot pixels; COMPUTER VISION turns those pixels into MEANING — "that's a cup," "there's the line to follow," "a person is ahead." It's one of the hardest robot skills because the real world is messy: lighting, angles, and clutter all change what the camera sees.
