Mission 14 of 16

Boundaries & Safety

📋 What it is

Not every rupture should be repaired the same way — boundaries and safety come first, and some situations need a trusted adult.

🗣️ Coach says

Repair is for ordinary hurts between people who both want the relationship. But if someone repeatedly hurts you, won’t stop, or it isn’t safe, the healthy move is a BOUNDARY — and telling a trusted adult. "I can repair anything" is not true, and it’s not your job to fix unsafe situations alone. Knowing the limit protects you.

🧠 Memory hook

Repair is for ordinary hurts. If it’s unsafe or repeated, set a BOUNDARY and tell a trusted adult.

😂 Giggle

Why is it okay to need a break mid-argument?
Because "can we pause and finish this later?" is a repair skill, not a defeat!

😲 Whoa!

Real strength includes knowing when NOT to keep trying to fix a relationship yourself — and when to ask for help.

✅ Quick check: Someone keeps hurting you and won’t stop. Is more repair the answer?

Say your answer out loud first — then reveal.

🧪 Try it! (2 minutes)

Name one trusted adult you could talk to if a rupture ever felt unsafe. Just knowing who helps.

🤸 Brain break: Firm stance: stand tall, feet planted, for a slow breath — the feeling of a steady boundary.
