Mission 2 of 16

Password Security

📋 What it is

Strong, unique passwords — long, hard to guess, different for each account — keep your accounts safe.

🗣️ Coach says

A password is a key. A good one is long, hard to guess, and DIFFERENT for each account — so if one leaks, the others stay locked. A short, reused password is like using the same easy key for your house, bike and locker.

🧠 Memory hook

Long + unique + secret. One key per lock.

😂 Giggle

Two-factor authentication walks into a bar.
The bouncer says, "ID please." 2FA says, "Here's my ID AND a code from my phone." The bouncer is impressed.

😲 Whoa!

A long passphrase like four random words is both easier to remember AND harder to crack than a short password full of symbols.

✅ Quick check: Why is it risky to use the same password for many different accounts?

Say your answer out loud first — then reveal.

🧪 Try it! (2 minutes)

Invent a strong passphrase (four random words) — long, memorable, and not about you.

🤸 Brain break: Lock it up: “turn a key” firmly, then check it’s locked with a satisfied nod.
