Phishing tricks you into giving up info or clicking bad links by pretending to be someone you trust — a “too good” or urgent message.

Phishing is bait. A message pretends to be your bank, a game, or a friend and pushes you to click or share fast: “You won!” or “Act now!” The tell is the pressure. Slow down, check who REALLY sent it, and never click a link that rushes you.

Phishing messages often have small mistakes — a weird sender address or spelling error — that give them away if you look closely.

Say your answer out loud first — then reveal.
It rushes you (“act now!”), sounds too good to be true, or pushes you to click a link or share info — often from a slightly-wrong sender.
Spotting urgency + suspicious links is the core anti-phishing skill.
