Mission 1 of 16

First Post

📋 What it is

A click-through rate (CTR) is a ratio: clicks ÷ times-shown (impressions). It tells you what FRACTION of viewers clicked, not the raw count.

🗣️ Coach says

Your first post got 10 clicks. Is that good? You cannot tell until you know how many people SAW it. A rate compares the two — 10 clicks out of 200 views (5%) is a very different story from 10 out of 20 (50%).

🧠 Memory hook

A rate = part ÷ whole. Clicks alone lie; clicks ÷ views tells the truth.

Why did the data scientist bring a ladder to work?
To study the retention curve from the top!

😲 Whoa!

A tiny channel can beat a huge one on CTR — a 12% rate on 500 views outperforms a 1% rate on a million.

✅ Quick check: A post gets 30 clicks from 600 impressions. What is its CTR?

Say your answer out loud first — then reveal.

🧪 Try it! (2 minutes)

Pick two of your own "posts" (real or imagined) and rank them by CTR, not by raw clicks.

🤸 Brain break: Ratio stretch: reach one arm out for "clicks", the other wider for "views" — the gap is your rate.
