Mission 6 of 16

Is It Real?

📋 What it is

A small sample is noisy: with few data points, luck (variance) can look like a real trend. Bigger samples are steadier.

🗣️ Coach says

Two posts did great, so "posting at 8pm works"? Two posts is nothing — that could be pure luck. Real patterns need enough data to rule out chance. Ask: is this a TREND, or did I just flip heads twice?

🧠 Memory hook

Small sample = noisy. A "trend" from a handful of posts might just be luck.

😂 Giggle

What did the algorithm say when it finally learned?
"Now I recommend myself a nap!"

😲 Whoa!

Flip a fair coin 4 times and getting 4 heads happens ~6% of the time — small samples throw "amazing streaks" constantly.

✅ Quick check: You post twice at 8pm and both do well. Is "8pm is my best time" a safe conclusion?

Say your answer out loud first — then reveal.

🧪 Try it! (2 minutes)

Decide how many posts you would want before trusting a "best time to post" claim, and why.

🤸 Brain break: Coin check: "flip" an imaginary coin 3 times — notice how often you get a fake streak.
