Reading with your eyes off is a nap. Active reading = turn "The Water Cycle" into "What IS the water cycle?" then read to catch the answer. Your brain wakes up when it’s hunting.

Say your answer out loud first — then reveal.
Turn each one into a question you’ll read to answer (e.g. "Producers" → "What is a producer?").
A question gives your brain a target, so reading becomes an active hunt instead of a passive scroll.
