Mission 2 of 16

Physical Fitness

📋 What it is

Fitness has parts — endurance (heart & lungs), strength, and flexibility — and kids need about 60 active minutes a day.

🗣️ Coach says

Being "fit" isn’t one thing. Endurance is your heart and lungs going strong (running, biking); strength is muscles (climbing, push-ups); flexibility is bending and stretching. Aiming for around an hour of movement a day — play counts! — keeps all three growing. Movement also boosts mood and focus, not just muscles.

🧠 Memory hook

Fitness = endurance + strength + flexibility. Aim ~60 active minutes a day — and play counts.

😂 Giggle

My muscles are sore from yesterday's workout. They're sending me angry messages.
Through my nerves.

😲 Whoa!

Exercise releases chemicals that lift your mood and sharpen focus — a workout helps your brain, not just your body.
