Morphology Build III

📋 What it is

Morphology combines prefixes, roots and suffixes to build and decode long words.

🗣️ Coach says

Morphology is word-building. Stack a prefix + root + suffix and you can construct — or decode — a giant word. "un + break + able = unbreakable". Big words stop being scary once you see them as small parts.

🧠 Memory hook

Prefix + root + suffix. "un-break-able" = cannot be broken. Decode by parts.

😂 Giggle

Why did the prefix arrive early?
Because it always goes before the word!

😲 Whoa!

The word "antidisestablishmentarianism" is just a long chain of prefixes, a root and suffixes stacked together.

✅ Quick check: Break "unbreakable" into its parts and give the meaning.

Say your answer out loud first — then reveal.

🧪 Try it! (2 minutes)

Build the longest real word you can from "un-", a root, and "-able" or "-ful".
