ReplayQuest

Rewind the argument. Two friends just fell out - over a shared project, a broken game, a group-chat joke that landed wrong. Replay it from BOTH sides: what each felt, what each wanted, how each showed it, and exactly where their maps split. Guess the other side, then choose one different move for each and watch a kinder replay - ending in a repair. Reverie the lemur can rewind any scene. No real names, no 'who was right', nothing you guess is ever saved. Ages 9-14.

Distributed-narrative cast

Meet the cast

ReplayQuest is the 9-14 conflict replay-and-revise instrument - perspective-taking and repair. Reverie the lemur is the hero: it can rewind any scene and replay it from BOTH sides, so you see the argument as two maps that split, not a villain and a victim - the rewind is Reverie. The companions each embody one row of the replay blueprint: what each FELT, what each WANTED, what each SHOWED (and the misread), and the REPAIR. There is no 'who was right' anywhere, no real names, and nothing a learner guesses is ever saved (map, not log).

R

Reverie

Rewind and replay (hero) - a lemur that rewinds any fallout and runs it again from both sides; seeing a conflict as two maps that split rather than a right side and a wrong side is Reverie. Rewind before you react.

E

Echoback

What each FELT - echoes back the feeling underneath what each person showed; embodies the blueprint's felt row, the true feeling that hid under the behaviour.

W

Wishwell

What each WANTED - the good goal under each action (to belong, to not be laughed at, to avoid a hard talk); embodies that even a hurtful move usually chases a very human want.

R

Riven

What each SHOWED, and the misread - riven means split; embodies the outward behaviour each person actually saw, and the exact point where the two maps of the moment split into a conflict.

A

Amends

The repair - embodies the mend at the end of every replay: a small, real repair with no 'but', and the wisdom that some conflicts are too big to fix alone and need a grown-up.
