RoadPals
A car game with no screen. Put the phone face down and a warm voice asks one question at a time — "I see eight red cars. If we see two more, how many?" — then waits while the family talks it over. It can't hear you, on purpose. Ten minutes, then goodbye. Ages 6–8, with a Wee version for 3–5.
Built for sittings of about 15 minutes on the screen. That is our design budget, not a measurement.

Meet the cast
Odometta is the voice of the ride, with a soft odometer ding before each question. Platewise loves licence plates. Milemark asks how far and how long.
Odometta
(Mentor, an old car odometer) - asks one question, then waits quietly while you talk it over
Platewise
A licence plate - turns its numbers into little puzzles: add the digits, is it odd?
Milemark
A road sign - asks how far and how long, at the pace of the road
