Blink the Firefly Lights Up

Blink was a tiny firefly who lived at the edge of your page. Blink had one wonderful job: whenever you found something just right on your paper, Blink lit up — a soft golden glow, warm and glad, just for you.

You drew three dots and counted them: “One, two, three.” Blink! The little firefly glowed. Not because you were fast, not because you were perfect — but because you looked, and you found it, and that was worth a light.

One time you tried and it wasn’t quite right. Did Blink turn red or frown? Never. Blink gave a gentle, patient shimmer that meant, “Good try — let’s look again together.” A try that misses is still a spark. Blink knows that fireflies glow brighter after a few soft flickers.

You tried once more, slow and careful, and this time it was right. Blink! — bright and happy. See? The light was always waiting for you. It only needed you to look, and try, and find.

At the end of your page, Blink hovered close, glowing softly. Every dot you counted, every letter you shaped — each one had earned a little light. Your page was full of gentle glows now, like a sky full of tiny warm stars, all lit by you.
