Marisol — a 17-year-old trying to raise her chance of a music-school offer
Marisol has three months. Her plan has three parts: record a demo (she’s already good at this — her demo is strong), send it to schools (she’s picked 3), and pass the live audition (this is where she freezes). She wants to spend her time where it helps most.
She’s tempted to spend the three months re-recording the demo to make it perfect — it’s the part she enjoys and already does well.
But the demo isn’t what’s limiting her. A stronger demo can’t make up for a live audition that doesn’t go well, and 3 applications is a thin funnel when each one is a long shot.
