Playing BrickTots together 🧱
BrickTots is a build-a-place lab for ages 3–5. Your child stacks bricks on a grid to make a path, then Brick the badger visits and walks it. Sit alongside them — this one is lovely to do together.
1 · Tap to stack a brick
Tap anywhere on a column of the grid to add a brick there. Point at the flag: "Brick wants to reach the flag — can we build him a way?"
2 · Build up, or fill the dip
Brick can hop down a drop by himself, but he can only climb up one step at a time. So to reach a high flag you build a step; to cross a dip you fill it in. Say it out loud together: "one step at a time!"
3 · Tap Visit and watch
Tap Visit! 🐾 and Brick walks the place they built. If he gets stuck, he stops right where the step is too tall — a perfect moment to add one more brick. There's no losing and nothing to score; Start over anytime.
Meet the crew
- Brick the badger — comes to visit and walks the path you build.
- Stacky — a brick you stack to climb up.
- Spanny — a brick you lay to bridge a dip.
- Ledge — the high perch (or far side) Brick is trying to reach.
What it teaches
- Building & spatial reasoning: make a path, up and across.
- One step at a time: you can drop down, but climb up a step at a time.
- Creation as play: build a place, and someone comes to visit it.
We make no claim BrickTots raises test scores — it's an honest little build lab. It runs entirely on your device: no account, no sign-in, nothing leaves your browser, and there's no heavy 3-D download.
