About CauseForge

CauseForge trains one transferable habit for ages 15–18: never mistake "moves together" for "caused." Each session takes a real observation and asks you to pick the soundest reasoning move — find the mechanism, run the counterfactual, name what would falsify the claim, or spot the hidden confound — then weigh every causal shape the pattern could really be.

It grew from a simple finding: in a controlled study, people who trained the reasoning move came up with more original, mechanism-based ideas than people simply handed a powerful AI. So CauseForge trains the move — and never hands you the answer.

Prefer a story? The case with Mara shows the same moves under a real deadline — a text-forward decision case, no cartoons.

Everything is calm: no score, no streak, no timer, nothing to buy. Everything runs on this device — there are no accounts, and nothing you do leaves the device.

Honest note: CauseForge is reasoning practice, not a proof of "originality," IQ, or a grade. It makes you slower to jump to a cause — which is most of the battle.
