Playing DressTots together 👗
DressTots is a dress-up box for ages 3–5. Your child dresses Button the chameleon and their own little figure — choosing colours, patterns, hats and shoes. Sit alongside them; this one is lovely to do together and full of colour words to say out loud.
1 · Pick who to dress
Tap Button 🦎 or You 🙂. Button is a chameleon, so he can be any colour at all — a perfect friend for a colour game.
2 · Tap a part, then tap a colour
Tap Skin, Clothes, Pattern, Hat or Shoes, then tap the swatch you like — it changes straight away. The game says the colour out loud so your child hears "red," "blue," "green" as they choose. Name them together.
3 · Try a gentle challenge — or just play
Under the figure there are a few soft challenges ("make Button all one colour," "give your figure a hat AND shoes"). There is no losing and nothing to score — when they get it, Button cheers; if not, it just says "try it." Or tap Free dress and make anything you like.
Meet the crew
- Button the chameleon — a colour-changer who wears whatever you choose.
- Your figure — a little person you dress just like Button.
What it teaches
- Colours & patterns: choose, mix, and hear each colour named.
- Creative expression: there's no "right" outfit — every look is a good one.
- Enough is enough: everything is here already, so there's nothing to want, wait for, or buy.
The one thing we're proud of
Many dress-up and avatar apps sell rare items, run trades, and flash "new!" badges — at exactly this age. DressTots has no shop: every colour, pattern, hat and pair of shoes is on the shelf from the first second. It's a calm, complete little dress-up box, and that's on purpose.
