Read history through what people made
EraForge teaches material-culture history & geography — how a silhouette dates an era, where fibers and dyes come from, what woven patterns meant, how trade carried materials across the world, and how to read an artifact or portrait as a historical source. Master the clues across 16 missions, then read a real object like a detective (the highest-leverage historical-thinking skill for grades 4–8). Built for ages 9–14 and aligned to NCSS themes + CCSS reading-of-history standards (RH.6-8). Content is respectful and source-first — cultures are credited, exchange is framed with respect, and no culture is caricatured. A hint appears only after a first try, and the correct answer and reasoning are always shown.
