How FairPlayPals works

Being a good sport is a skill you can practice

Game night has tricky moments — a loss, a lucky roll against you, a slow player, “one more game?” FairPlayPals lets a child practice those exact moments ahead of time, so the kind move is ready when it counts. It’s built around CASEL self-management and relationship skills, always as practice — never a grade, a test, or a claim about any child.

Every choice is a real feeling

There is no wrong answer and no losing. When a child picks a grumpy response, FairPlayPals never scolds — it says “that’s a real feeling,” then gently offers a good-sport way to show it. That’s the skill: not hiding a big feeling, but showing it kindly.

Karma, flipped

On big game platforms, players rate each other — which can turn into a punishment. FairPlayPals flips it: the child cheers the cast, and nothing ever rates the child. Warmth flows one way here.

Everything stays private

It all happens on this device. No accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no tracking. The only thing saved is how many charters you’ve made, in this browser’s local storage — never sent or shared anywhere. Clear your browser data and it’s gone.

Meet the crew

Each FairPlayPal shows one good-sport move — Goodwin wins kindly, Shrugg shakes off a loss, Wenna waits with patience, and Asko invites everyone in. Their illustrated storybooks are on the way to the cast page — stories that sit beside the practice, never in the middle of it.
