Playing FlockTots together 🦆🐸
FlockTots is a cooperative game for ages 3–5 — the grown-up idea of a co-op board game (everyone against the game, not each other) shrunk to something a three-year-old can hold. The big idea: we win together. Puddle the duck and Hopps the frog help every duckling waddle home to Cattail’s reeds before Rusk the fox creeps too close.
1 · Look at the pond
At the top you can always see how many ducklings are home and how close Rusk is. Talk about it together: “How many more to go? Is Rusk getting close?”
2 · Take your turn
On your turn, pick one of two things: Waddle a duckling across 🦆 (one more duckling reaches the reeds) or Shoo Rusk back 🪨 (push the fox two steps away). There’s no wrong choice — both help.
3 · Hopps helps too
After you, Hopps takes a fair turn — helping a duckling across, or shooing Rusk when he’s close. But Hopps never carries a duckling home before you do — if you stop helping, the ducklings stop crossing. So the flock only gets home when you both waddle. Point it out: “Hopps helped — now it’s our turn again!”
4 · Get everyone home
Keep going until every duckling is home — then you win together. If Rusk reaches the reeds first, the ducklings scurry back and you simply try again (shoo him back a little sooner). No one loses to a friend.
No timers, no streaks, no score to chase, and you never lose to a friend. The only “opponent” is a slow, gentle fox you push back together. On-device — nothing leaves your device.
