Emotion in Animation

📋 What it is

Animators show a character’s feelings through expression, body language and timing — so we understand emotion without words.

🗣️ Coach says

Great animation makes you FEEL. Even without dialogue, a slumped posture, a slow blink, or a sudden fast movement tells you exactly what a character feels. Animators are masters at showing emotion through the body and timing.
