The memory lab

Logic gates can add and choose — but they forget the instant the switches change. To build a real computer you need one more thing: memory. Here the circuit has a clock that ticks, and a bit called Q that remembers. Read the timeline, predict what Q becomes, then run the engine and check. Flip-flop → memory → latch → toggle → a counter that steps like a CPU.
