The best way to get good is to know the traps. Area isn't perimeter. A diagram might be drawn wrong on purpose. The diameter is twice the radius, not the same. Spotting a trap before it catches you is a skill you can practise.

On tests, the most common geometry mistake isn't hard maths — it's using the radius when the problem gave the diameter (or the reverse).
✅ Quick check: A problem gives a circle's diameter as 10 but the formula needs the radius. What do you use?
