The double-cross: decline the last two boxes of a chain to force your opponent to open the NEXT chain.

A brilliant sacrifice: instead of greedily taking a whole chain, leave the last two boxes. Your opponent must take them — then OPEN the next chain for you. Giving up two boxes wins you the whole rest.
