About HeritageQuest
Every family holds stories that live only in someone's memory. HeritageQuest helps a young person become the family's storykeeper — with good questions to ask and a safe place to keep the answers.
How it works
- Interview. Pick who you're talking to and a topic. HeritageQuest gives you a warm-up question, a story question, and a reflect-together question — and a tip on why each one works (open vs closed, follow-ups).
- Capture. Jot notes, or record the answer with your device's microphone. Both stay on your device — nothing is uploaded, ever.
- Make a book. The memories gather into a family book you can print and keep.
Built on trust
HeritageQuest has no account and no server. Notes live in your browser's storage and recordings in an on-device database — a family's private memories never leave the device. More languages are coming so you can interview in the language you speak at home.
