Shh… what can you hear?

👂 Let's go listening!

For grown-ups

Careful listening is where hearing the sounds inside words begins. Pick a place, take the card on a short walk, and let your child tap each sound when they hear it — then ask which was the quietest. The phone never uses the microphone and records nothing; your child’s ears are the only sensor. Back inside, “which is louder?” compares everyday sounds. No timer, no score. Everything stays on this device.

The listening friends

  • Hushabee — keeps very still so the quiet sounds can be heard.
  • Perkear — pricks up big ears and points: “I hear a bird!”
  • Boomba — knows the loud sounds — the bus, the siren, the plane.
  • Whooley — (mentor, the owl) — asks “what was the quietest thing you heard?”

Painted friends + storybooks are coming soon.
