For grown-ups
How to use it
- Tap a picture-and-word chip at the top to add it to the list. Picture chips, not typing, keep it usable for a pre-typist.
- Tap a row to check it off (⬜ → ✅); tap again to un-check. Tap 🔊 on a row to hear it, or 🔊 Read my list to hear everything still to do.
- The little × removes a row; Start over clears the list. Your list is saved on this device and is here when you come back.
Why a little list
Choosing a few things, ordering them, and marking them done is early self-management — a foundation of executive function at a size a six-year-old can hold. Read-aloud lets a child who is still learning to read use the list independently (a curb-cut that helps everyone). We describe the rationale honestly and claim no measured outcome — ListPals is a supportive tool, not an intervention.
No pressure, no counting
There is deliberately no score, no streak, and no "how many done." A list that scores you becomes a chore; a list that just holds what to do stays useful. Everything is on this device only, with nothing sent anywhere and no notifications or reminders.
