About MarkPals
Looking closely is a skill. MarkPals gives a six-to-eight-year-old a little picture and a few marks — circle it, point at it, star your favourite, or put a ❓ on the thing you wonder about. It turns "just looking" into noticing on purpose, and keeps what you noticed on a shelf you can open again.
The one big idea
Point at what you notice. Not a quiz to pass, not a streak to keep — just a picture, a few marks, and a shelf that holds them.
What it's good for (and what we don't claim)
MarkPals is gentle practice in observation and visual literacy — reading a picture, choosing what matters, and giving it a reason. It is not a lesson or a test, and we make no claim it raises anything. It's an honest little looking-closely tool.
