About MosaicForge
MosaicForge is an original tile-laying strategy game for ages 9–14 — inspired by the great family of tile games, but its own rules. You place coloured tiles on a grid and think about where each one scores the most.
Two ways to score
- Cluster. A tile scores the size of the connected same-colour region it joins — so linking your colours into one big block is worth a lot. One tile can even bridge two groups into a single region.
- Mosaic bonus (+3). A tile that borders three or more different colours earns a bonus — so sometimes mixing beats clustering. Every colour also has its own shape (◆ ● ▲ ★), so you can always tell them apart.
Predict, observe, explain
On the Place screen you are given a tile and asked to predict the best empty cell before you see the numbers. Then every cell's score is revealed and you reconcile — did a big cluster win, or did the +3 bonus tip it? Predicting first is what makes the strategy stick. The Free board lets you build your own mosaic with no pressure.
