Sky the hawk looks down and sees the room from above — that is a map. Your child taps the spot on the map where each thing belongs (the teddy on the bed, the boots by the door). The big idea: a map shows the room from above, and the same spot on the map is the same spot in the room — the very first step in map reading. It reads every prompt aloud, the spots are big to tap, and there is no way to lose. No camera, no timer, no score. Everything stays on this device.

The map friends

Perch — sits up high and looks down, so the whole room fits in one picture.
Spotty — finds the matching spot: the bed on the map is the bed in the room.
Placy — puts each thing where it belongs on the map.
Sky — the map keeper: from above, the map is the room, seen from the top.
