About PetTots

PetTots takes the most beloved idea in kids' apps — a pet you look after — and gently removes the parts that are not kind. A child adopts a calm pet and cares for it: feed, water, play, tuck in. Feeding and playing are little matching games (what does a tortoise eat?); water and rest are simple caring taps.

The big, deliberate difference is the Timer Rule. Come back an hour, a day, or a whole month later and your pet is exactly how you left it. Nothing ever gets hungry, sad, or sick while you are away; nothing costs a coin; and there is no losing. The only thing that changes is the gentle season around your pet.

  • 🐢 Tuck the tortoise — likes crunchy lettuce and a slow-roll ball, rests in a cosy log.
  • 🦜 Bibi the budgie — likes seeds and a jingle bell, rests in a little perch.
  • 🐠 Glim the goldfish — likes fish flakes and bubbles, rests in a plant castle.

Honest note for grown-ups: PetTots is a calm, no-pressure care routine and a first, playful feel for looking after someone (a gentle SEL idea) — it is deliberately built to avoid the guilt-and-rush-back loops of streak-and-currency pet apps. It is a taste, not a claim of any particular outcome. Everything runs on this device; there are no accounts, no ads, and nothing a child does leaves the device.
