Round 10 of 16

Game Plans

📋 What it is

The three main plans are the race (run home), the blitz (attack fast), and the priming game (build a wall).

🗣️ Coach says

Do not move randomly — pick a PLAN. Ahead in the count? Race home. Enemy checkers on the bar? Blitz to trap them. Behind but positioned? Build a prime and lock a checker in. Reading which plan the position wants is the mark of a strong player.

🧠 Memory hook

Race, blitz, or prime. Pick the plan the position is asking for.

😂 Giggle

Why did the dice feel powerful and powerless at once?
Because they decide your moves, but strategy decides how you use them!

😲 Whoa!

Great players switch plans mid-game as the dice change — flexibility beats stubbornly forcing one strategy.

✅ Quick check: You are clearly ahead in the pip count with no checkers trapped. Which plan fits?

Say your answer out loud first — then reveal.

🧪 Try it! (2 minutes)

Look at three positions and name the plan each one wants: race, blitz, or prime. Justify each in one sentence.

🤸 Brain break: Three-paths: point straight ahead (race), jab forward (blitz), build a wall with your arms (prime).
