Nuclear plants split atoms to release huge energy with no CO₂ — powerful, but with waste to manage.

Nuclear power splits heavy atoms (fission), releasing enormous energy that boils water to spin turbines. A tiny amount of fuel makes vast power with NO carbon emissions, so it’s a low-carbon source. Its challenges are safe handling and long-term storage of radioactive waste.
