RobotPals

You are the Coder. Walk the Robot to the flag.

▶ Let's code!

For grown-ups

RobotPals teaches the very first idea of coding: an exact list of steps, run in order. Your child is the Coder — they add Forward, turn Left, and turn Right cards, then press Run and watch the Robot follow the program cell by cell to the flag. Play it as a pair — one codes, one is the Robot walking a real floor grid (that is the "unplugged" version). There is no timer and no way to lose: if the Robot bumps a wall, it just says "fix your steps and try again," and your program is kept so you can change one step. Everything is read aloud and stays on this device.

The coding friends

  • Forth — Forward: the Robot takes one step the way it is facing.
  • Lefty — turn Left: the Robot spins to face left, but does not move.
  • Righty — turn Right: the Robot spins to face right, but does not move.
  • Codey — the coder habit: a program is an exact list of steps, run in order; if it bumps, fix a step and run again.

Painted friends + storybooks are coming soon.
